Special Times

The pioneer settlers in 1874 lived simply. Family gatherings and celebrations were cherished times. Examples in the museum include fancy clothes, a formal parlor, and a collection of several thousand fancy buttons and pins.

A formal parlor
A collection of fancy buttons, lapel pins and broaches. Some are political, patriotic, or just beautiful!
