Beaded women's moccasins from the Sioux Lower Brule tribe are sinew-sewn on buffalo hide.
The Plains Indian Artifacts Exhibit showcases over 450 rare historic and culturally significant items in a visually pleasing display. In addition to the quilled clothing, headdress, and moccasins, the collection includes:
  • Tools, weaponry
  • Dolls, children's toys, clothing
  • 1898 photos of Sioux Indians
  • Exquisite beadwork
  • 1880's saddle blanket with 250,000 beads!
